Director of Marketing

General Summary
As a Director of Marketing, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, managing and reporting on digital marketing strategies, marketing activities and external communications.  Areas of responsibility include both original and curated content creation for the corporate website, the corporate blog, industry online media outlets, email marketing and CRM, corporate social media accounts, online advertising, and other digital channels. 
Responsibilities:
 
  1. Quickly develop and successfully implement a clear go-to-market strategy and plan for Mobvista/NativeX and in direct support of corporate goals
  2. Oversight of team to ensure consistent delivery on marketing plans in support of strategic goals across: lead generation, branding, value prop/messaging, digital, communications and PR
  3. Collaborate with internal departments to seamlessly enhance the enterprise brand in the US markets
  4. Develop, implement and manage marketing budget that optimizes dollars spent across all channels and go to market models
  5. Collaborate with the Sales and Product Marketing teams to improve content distribution, and lead / client nurturing
  6. Work closely with Global events manager on the US event strategy and local presence at industry events
  7. Work closely with the China-based marketing team and develop local press strategy and maintain it
  8. Content Creation: Create and publish press releases, thought leadership blog posts, contributed articles, social media posts (original and curated content), newsletters, campaigns.
  9. Competitive analysis and research for Ad Tech / Mobile Monetization & Advertising / Gaming & App Industry
  10. Identify challenges and emerging issues faced by Mobvista/NativeX. Work with both management and staff to recognize internal and external communications opportunities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them 
  11. Actively follows media perception of Mobvista/NativeX and produces PR reports with a thorough understanding of how Mobvista/NativeX is perceived externally.  
  12.  Monitors ad tech/ gaming and app industry landscape and media opinion for trends, new developments, opportunities and best practice
  13. Assist at events (Planning, communication, sponsorship requirements, setup, and participation as needed)
 
Qualifications:
 
  1. Bachelors in marketing, communications, business administration or relevant field
  2. 5+ years of experience in developing successful marketing strategies across all disciplines of marketing and who has consistently delivered results across channels and geographies.
  3. Proven ability of helping business development teams driven company’s target to marketing/value driven strategies
  4. Excellent negotiation, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
  5. Excellent ability working under pressure and problem-solving
  6. Tenacious self-starter with a high level of initiative and strong follow-through
  7. English at mother tongue level. Our ideal candidate is a strong writer and copy editor with exceptional communication skills, who can turn complex messages into simple, concise and engaging text.
  8. Fast Learner with ability to define and articulate key messages related to ad tech and areas of interest to our audience (Mobile Apps & Games industry, Mobile Monetization and Advertising, SEO/ASO, UA & Retention, Native Advertising, Mediation, DMPs, etc)
  9. Demonstrated proficiency with social media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Quora) and tools (such as HootSuite).
